Extremely unprofessional.
We had booked a room on the website a week in advance, received a booking confirmation email, and got onto the train. However, one hour before our arrival, I got another email saying they didn’t accept online booking via webpage but only by phone. All of a sudden, we were without a room and needed to change the plans to look for something else. Instead of visiting the area we spent our time calling the hotels.
Beautiful bed and breakfast! Sharon was great at communicating and was very friendly upon our arrival. The room was very clean and the highlight for me was enjoying the windmills from bed. While the area is very touristy, I think it’s a positive to stay here and enjoy the evenings and mornings without all the tourist. There is a great brewery within walking distance. 👍
Everything is perfect. clean and comfortable room with everything you may need. Comfortable bed, clean towels, coffee maker, and electric kettle for tea and hot drinks.
The view is amazing and very close to windmills.
Free parking was also very good, especially with my old parents but you can also go by train to central Amsterdam in 20 min.
Sharon is a super host. She was very welcoming and helpful all the time.
She made our vacation more enjoyable, and she did all her best to make us happy . She was very generous, and Bibi was very helpful.
The breakfast was very good in taste and variety with eggs, cold cuts, yogurt, juice, and bakery.
I highly recommend it for a relaxing family vacation
A magical and special place. My sister and I took our mom as a surprise to celebrate her 70th birthday and there are no words that can express how spectacular the weekend we spent there was. Starting with the hospitality of Rose, upon our arrival, her charisma and kindness, always with a smile. The rooms simply incredible. The view, the beds, the breakfast... Then Sharon, the owner, who made us feel at home. A place that you should definitely visit and sleep at least one night (although you will probably want to stay longer... I can assure you) Our visit was in January 2023, and we will return as soon as we can. Muchas Gracias Sharon & Rose 🫶🏼
It is the most magical place I've stayed at!
The view from the rooms is simply breathtaking both at daytime and in the evening. We stayed in two rooms: aan ‘t Glop and d'Walvis, both had upstairs bedroom and therefore gorgeous panoramic views!
It is a very quiet place to be, completely away from the crowds that visit Zaanse Schans, though you're at the same time in the middle of it all. It's almost like living in a fairy tale, or having traveled to the past. It is such a magical experience for real!
Sharon and Roos were amazing hosts, kind, friendly, attent. Breakfast was a very pleasant surprise, it was super complete with lots of variety and all was delicious!
100% recommended!
I love this place!! An extremely unique and adorable and romantic and quiet and I can’t say enough positive things!
Sharon Is a delight. Breakfast is huge.
Staying here allows you to explore the area without the tourist in the morning and then their early evening. It has a extra charm to be one of the only ones wandering. Peering out of my window I was able to watch the windmill people take down the sails and take care of their windmills. It’s not something you would be able to normally see when you’re just being a tourist walking through.
Very nice place. You will love it very much. It’s quite and safe and there is great views. If I can give 10 stars I will.
I would love to visit it again.
Dog friendly! It was like living in a museum, located in a famous touristic spot. The garden was very nice and the view was superb. My dogs loved it! We especially enjoyed walking the village in the quiet morning, before the first batch of tourist arrived.
The bed was too soft but it totally worth staying for 1-2 night. The owner, Sharon were very nice. Thanks for hosting us!
